Crisp, clean and food friendly is the guiding mantra for this wine. Riesling has enjoyed a bit of a renaissance recently, and one of the intriguing qualities of the grape is how it can ably shine in many forms. Many versions are made in a slightly sweet style, but we have chosen to pick early (about 22-24 brix) and ferment this wine dry. You'll find complex aromatics showing floral, peach and apricot fruit and just a hint of petrol (long condisdered to be a hallmark of fine "Old World" versions of the grape). The palate is crisp, bright and vibrant, with just enough fleshiness to make this a versatile food wine that will complement ethnic cuisine such as Thai or Indian, or be a great addition to a Thanksgiving dinner table.
